Cutometer® Dual MPA 580 / Corneometer®

Objective measurement of skin elasticity and hydration

At CTC, the Cutometer® Dual MPA 580 and Corneometer® are used to assess key biomechanical and physiological properties of the skin through non-invasive measurements.

The Cutometer® evaluates skin elasticity by applying controlled suction to the skin and measuring its deformation and recovery. The Corneometer® assesses skin hydration by measuring the moisture content of the stratum corneum.

These established techniques provide sensitive and reproducible endpoints, supporting longitudinal evaluation of treatment effects in dermatological and cosmetic clinical trials.
