Sustainability as a
Core Principle at CTC

CTC recognises the responsibility to integrate sustainability into every aspect of CTC’s operations and decision-making processes. CTC is dedicated to advancing the goals of UN’s Agenda 2030 to create a better, more sustainable future for all. CTC’s commitment is reflected in the areas where CTC has the greatest opportunity to contribute to the transition. CTC is yearly assessed by Ecovadis.

People, Safety, and Sustainability

CTC’s employees should strive to make the most environmentally friendly option where and when possible, in all our actions, to minimise the environmental impact as much as possible.

CTC is using environmentally friendly material (sugarcane-based raw material) for disposable gloves, aprons, shoe covers, and plastic containers for handling biological waste.

CTC’s travel policy states that each employee is responsible for choosing the travel option that limits environmental and climate impact the most. When traveling, trains should be the first choice for all journeys.

Economic Prosperity

Sustainable economic growth is fundamental to CTC’s management and is reflected in the company goals through metrics of organic growth and profitability.

CTC have an established whistleblowing system to actively handle suspicions of violations, irregularities, corruption, and harassment. The function is handled by an external company in collaboration  with a couple of internal functions.

CTC’s mission, to translate science into treatment, is one of the  ways CTC contribute to good health and well-being. Our core values, innovation, Community, Commitment, Respect and Professionalism are reflected in the overall CTC corporate culture.

The possibility of parental leave is important to CTC, and all CTC’s employees therefore receive financial compensation from CTC during parental leave.

CTC promotes the health and well-being of our employees through safe working conditions, wellness programs, and comprehensive health benefits. CTC complies with laws and regulations within Swedish labour law and applicable union collective agreements.

CTC has a safety committee consisting of employee representatives specifically dedicated to systematically work with physical, psychosocial, and organisational work environment.

The HR department uses an external platform to measure CTC’s employees’ well-being and satisfaction twice a year. To further contribute to the employees’ well-being and health, CTC offers flexible working hours and yearly wellness allowance.
