Helena Litorp
Dr. Helena Litorp is CTC’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and has a background as a specialist physician in obstetrics/gynecology and associate professor in global health. She has 15+ years of experience from clinical work, education, supervision, and international research collaboration.
Her main research interest is in maternal and neonatal health and quality improvement interventions and innovations for emergency obstetric care.
Since her start as physician at CTC in 2019, she has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in 70+ clinical trials within different therapeutic areas. As Chief Medical Officer (CMO), she is responsible for the medical safety at CTCs Site Network, coordinating the physician group and medical experts, and a member of CTCs strategic and operational management as well as crisis management team.
