Virtual Visits

CTC offer virtual/decentralised trials which includes video visits for the convenience of the patients.

To perform virtual visits, our eMedical Record (eMR) system offers an integrated solution for video appointments. Virtual visits open up for the possibility to include patients far from the clinical research site, which makes the recruitment more efficient.

After scheduling a video visit, the patient receives an automated text message with a booking confirmation and a link to download an application in preparation before the visit. After downloading the application, to attend the visit the patient can log in using an electronic Bank-ID.

The investigator connects to the meeting through the eMR system. Documentation of the visit is done according to routine in the eMR.
