Helena Litorp (MD, PhD, Assoc. Professor) is a board-certified specialist physician in obstetrics/gynecology and an associated professor in global health at Karolinska Institutet. She has 15+ years of experience from clinical work, education, supervision, and international research collaboration.
Her main research interest is in maternal and neonatal health and quality improvement interventions and innovations for emergency obstetric care.
Since her start as physician at CTC in 2019, she has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in 50+ clinical trials within different therapeutic areas. As Chief Medical Officer (CMO), she is responsible for the overall medical safety at CTC, coordinating the physician group and medical experts, and a member of the strategic management as well as crisis management groups.
